A lot of effort and planning goes into ensuring the evening is a success, building on many years of experience of hosting this event. During the day of the bonfire, the Banchory and District Round Table will be taking over the park to construct the bonfire and place all the barriers required. Another team will be travelling round Banchory collecting combustibles for the fire.

There will be a Public Address system installed which should ensure all attendees can hear important safety announcements and the running order of the evening. At the end of the evening the Fire and Rescue Service attend to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.
